You double-click on the dye and you click on the piece of equippement you want to colour.

You can mix and match many different colors of dyes to create new colors. The new colors (or the originals) can be applied to different armor peices such as gloves, chest peice, leggings, etc. Black dye is the rarest followed by silver, red, blue, purple, green, and yellow. Everyone hates yellow.

They vary in price but are a cool addition to your character that make him/her more unique. Just make sure you have all your skills ready before blowing your fortune on dyes.

There are eight dyes available - seven common dyes (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and silver) and one rare dye (black).

If you just want to dye a piece of equipment, double click the dye, then click on your clothing to change its color. Fairly straightforward.

If you want to get creative you can mix dyes to create custom colors. You can do this in one of two ways - first, you can dye another dye. Just use a dye on another dye the same as you would a piece of clothing. This creates a custom colored dye, based on the 'targeted' dye and influenced by the 'used' dye. Or, you can simply dye your armor with multiple dyes in sequence - each successive dye will change the color of your armor slightly. This effect diminishes, so after a couple of dyes you won't even notice a change from additional ones.

Peace,
-CxE

They guys in the thread have given you the information you need. However, when you do get your hands on some Dye - download the Dye Mixer program found here and see how it all will look like.
